Jennifer Pharr Davis (whose Appalachian Trail name is "Odyssa," a feminine form of the fictional Greek explorer Odysseus) has published ten books about the Appalachian Trail and beyond, including her "empowering blueprint on resilience" The Pursuit of Endurance (Penguin Random House), her seminal Appalachian Trail memoir Becoming Odyssa which has sold more than 80,000 copies, and an award-winning project with celebrated Southern watercolorist Alan Shuptrine called I Come from a Place.
