Called Again
In 2011, Jennifer Pharr Davis became the overall record holder on the Appalachian Trail. By hiking 2,181 miles in 46 days – an average of 47 miles per day — she became the first female to ever set that mark. But this is not a book about records or numbers; this is a book about endurance and faith, and most of all about love. In her own words, Jennifer shares her story of how she embarked on a journey with her husband, Brew. With a deep love for hiking and each other, they overcame countless challenges- from rugged mountains and raging rivers to sleet storms and 100 degree heat. Together, they found new friendships and tested old ones. They shared laughter and tears, and through it all, they discovered a deeper connection to each other and to the great outdoors.
